128bpm modular synth improvisation

Описание: 128bpm modular synth improvisation - 26 minute performance. I really like how this one turned out!

A simple kick and snare beat to get things going, and then I shamelessly borrowed a bassline from a track that I released a few years ago called "Good Looking" (check it out - think LCD Soundsystem meets Frankie Goes to Hollywood:    • Good Looking  .

From there I added a couple more synth voices on the modular, some hihats on both the modular and the Digitakt2, and a sort of techno rumble on the Digitakt2 also.

Only 4 days left of Jamuary and I'm starting to wonder what I'm going to do next! It's been a real commitment to record a jam every day this month, but I feel that it's really helped me explore improvisation and moving from one section to another on the modular synth.

Let's see what February brings!
