Where can you see classic, GE power in service each day? The Minnesota Commercial Railway in the Twin Cities! Ever since the ALCo's were pulled from service, these older GE's have gotten more work, and attention. We'll watch as they lug some heavy freight trains around, smoke it up, work in the snow, and sound great!
Things start off over at New Brighton, with the Belt Job getting ready to double up, and depart with a massive freight train. After doing some work, we get to watch them scream up a stiff, and kick up a decent amount smoke. Following this, we'll see the train arrive at the yard, and come past us, lite power. A few days later, we get to see the same power set working the Hugo Job in some NASTY rain, sleet, and snow. After conquering some tough hills, and track, we'll see a different Belt Job heading down the line in a snow storm. It even has a surprise unit, third out!
