Описание: Sailing and rowing my homemade rowcruiser 70 nautical miles starting from Alamitos Bay along Beach to the Isthmus at Catalina Island. Crossed the San Pedro channel in 7 hours w perfect wind conditions. Spent 3 days with my friends who sailed their boat over as well. Spent day 4 sailing to Avalon about 20 miles along the north coast of Catalina. Got some pizza there. On these trips I always camp and sleep on bangrang. Arose at 5am and rowed 3/4 of the channel back to the mainland approximately 20 miles and sailed the last 10 miles back to Alamitos Bay. Highlights include seeing the mega pod of dolphins on the way over, meeting my friends by chance competing in the island series race, spearfishing the kelp beds of the island, good laughs with friends, cave exploring along the coast, and a 2 giant sunfish that followed me on my row back to the mainland!
