He made the call while addressing as the chief guest at the triennial conference of Swechchhasebak League at Rangpur Pirgachha Upazila Auditorium on Saturday afternoon.

The conference was inaugurated by District Swechchhasebak League President Sirajul Islam Pramanik.

Also present at the conference were Nirmal Ranjan Guha, President of Bangladesh Awami Swechchhasebak League Central Committee, Md. Afzalur Rahman Babu, General Secretary, Md. Abdus Salam, Vice President, Krishibid, Arifur Rahman Titu, Organizing Secretary and Nafiul Karim Nafa.

Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi called upon the party leaders and workers to work unitedly to win the Awami League led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to build the golden Bengal of Bangabandhu's dream.

Later, the Central Committee and the newly-elected members of the Swechchhasebak League paid their respects by laying a wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu.
