Kiruna Church. Local name: Kiruna Pastorat. The Church is one of Sweden's largest wooden buildings. It was built between 1909 – 1912, and was consecrated in December 1912.
The church is an iconic religious structure of Sweden and also the largest wooden building in the country. This magnificent wooden structure was built in the year 1912 and still today, its Gothic Revival styled architecture surprises the visitors. This church is a significant part of the Jukkasjarvi parish.
