The family of an Aboriginal man killed by a hit-and-run driver in Darwin last year have voiced their "disgust and dismay" at the lack of a prison sentence for the offender.
The 39-year-old victim and another 37-year-old, were hit by Jake Danby's car while crossing the road near a suburban shopping centre, with the driver fleeing and later boasting about the collision to his friends.
