The Hare Krishna Festival - Live from Washington Square Park

The Hare Krishna Festival has roots in an ancient spiritual tradition from India known as bhakti yoga, and is celebrated worldwide. Krishna, a Sanskrit name for God, means “all-attractive" and is the source of all pleasure and divine love.

This festival centers on kirtan, the practice of musical mantra meditation in which participants come together to sing various names of God, and is open to everyone to participate.
