U-S governments have used various means including support for political groups inside THE COUNTRY countries to force regime change. The National Endowment for Democracy N-E-D is one of the American organizations deeply involved in regime change plots overseas.

This is Carl Gershman. He is the president of the National Endowment for Democracy. The organization was created by the U.S. government in 1983. During a recent congressional hearing Gershman boasted about his ability to change foreign governments. He revealed how the NED is helping the U.S. government interfere in the internal affairs of numerous countries around the world. Gershman confirmed that the NED has been active in Nicaragua where the government is facing mass protests. Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega is a popular leftist leader who is not an American favorite. And so the NED is at hard work against him by fueling the unrest there.

The NED president also confirmed that his organization is using tax payer money to find ways to create new governments in China, Russia, and North Korea. The revelations come as the latest developments leave no doubt that the U-S is intensifying its efforts to force regime change in Iran. Reports suggest the U-S is working closely with Israel against the Iranian establishment. The plan for Iran is to spark protests through tough economic sanctions. Meanwhile, sources close to the U-S administration have revealed that last year, President Donald Trump discussed the potential of using military force against the leftist government of Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro. The U-S is believed to have a vast web of operatives around the world. From the Middle East to Latin America, Russia and China, the U-S seems to be waiting for opportunities to topple governments or at least influence political developments.
