Zoom 708II Bass Multi effect - Pedal Profile

Описание: Here's another cool throwback multi FX pedal in Zoom's classic plastic enclosure. This one has a short throw expression pedal that was built into some of the presets in interesting ways. No looper on this one, just the bass (Sire U5) directly into the pedal and into a JDI DI box which was plugged into my interface and no post production effects.

Multi-effect pedals tend to get a bad rap in the pedal community as the sound on them might not be as good as other pedals and they can be harder to customize. However, they can be a great launching point for a beginner guitarist to experiment with and be inspired by effects. For a more seasoned player, though they might not be great to gig with, they can be fertile ground for experimentation and song writing. If you can find one of these on Kijiji, Craigslist, Marketplace, Ebay or even a garage sale it can result in many hours of solitary fun. Anything that makes you want to actually play your instrument is a win.
