Test Honda CBR500R 2024 - THE Entry-Level Supersport Motorcycle!

Описание: It was one of the first supersport motorcycles in the new A2 license class: The Honda CBR500R. After several model generations, we are now testing the current 2024 model. The competition has become fierce – can the Honda still keep up?

In this test, we were on the road with HJC! Both the RPHA 1 and the RPHA 12 impressed us.
Once per season, we feel like real superheroes. That happens every time HJC sends the new licensed models from Marvel and Co. to the 1000PS editorial office. This time, there were two different models. The HJC RPHA 1, being a top-end racing helmet with FIM homologation, fits snugly around the head as expected and also provides a tight fit around the cheeks. You get a solid sense of contact across the entire head area. Here’s a tip for choosing the right size: it runs small! If in doubt, try a size larger. The build quality of the RPHA 1 is excellent, and the helmet leaves a good overall impression. In everyday use, the lower noise insulation is a minor downside. The RPHA 12, on the other hand, not only looks less radical in its design but also fits noticeably more comfortably and not as tightly on the head. Both helmets impressed us visually and technically. If you don’t want to make any compromises in terms of sportiness, the RPHA 1 is a first-class racing helmet. If your focus is more on road riding, the RPHA 12 will likely suffice.
