Описание: Trucking in the U.S.? Or Trucking in Canada? (Which is Better?)
I’ve driven in every state and province in North America in my 44+ years in trucking.
In this video, I’ll review what it’s like to go trucking in the U.S. and Canada, what’s good and bad about each, and which country I personally prefer as a truck driver (and why).

Canada has its perks when it comes to trucking.
Free health care (government paid health care). So this isn’t something CDN truckers need to pay for out of their own pocket.
Safer country for truckers for parking and much lower crime rate.
Less traffic as there are fewer major cities in Canada (Truly only about 3 major centres)
Canadian CDL training is more stringent in some provinces and more training time is being implemented compared to the U.S. (Although there are lousy truck drivers in Canada too)
These are 4 big factors.

The U.S. has many more perks than Canada for the truck driver.
More truck stops and much better equipped truck stops with full service for the company driver and the owner operator.
Cost of most everything in the U.S. is less than in Canada (including the price of trucks, diesel fuel, meals on the road, to name a few)
Drivers are more respected in the U.S. (In Canada, they are disliked by the driving public and just thought of as a nuisance)
Trucking in the U.S. is more profitable especially for the owner operators.
There is more work for the truck driver in the U.S. There aren’t as many positions available in Canada. Since training in Canada is out of reach financially for most people, there are fewer trained drivers, but also fewer job positions to fill.

These are just some of the pros and cons of trucking in Canada and the U.S.
