Kokoda (pronounced ko-kon-da) is a delicious traditional Fijian dish made with fresh raw fish marinated in lemon juice and mixed with creamy coconut milk and vegetables. In this video, I’ll show you step-by-step how to make Kokoda at home – a must-try recipe if you love healthy, refreshing seafood dishes!

🌴 Ingredients:
1. Grouper Fish (or any fresh white fish)
2. Fresh Lemon Juice
3. Ginger
4. Garlic
5. Tomatoes
6. Cucumber
7. Spring Onion
8. Onion
9. Coriander (Daun Ketumbar)
10. Coconut Milk (fresh coconut milk is highly recommended)

🥥 Instructions:

Dice the grouper fish into small cubes.

Marinate the fish in fresh lemon juice for at least 3 hours until it turns white (this "cooks" the fish).

Finely chop the ginger, garlic, onion, tomatoes, cucumber, spring onion, and coriander.

Drain excess lemon juice from the fish, then mix it with the chopped ingredients.

Add fresh coconut milk and gently stir.

Let it chill for a few minutes before serving – best enjoyed cold!
