the idea for this being a bit more cinematic (i.e. the inclusion of the scene at the beginning and the harkinia palace reprise at the end) purely came from one of the sheet musics i saw on musescore while trying to find a good midi to use. BIIIIIG big shoutout to Kuppa and Rome Kingston for that! go check them out on there!

i was really gripped by zelda's "what if something happens to you?" in harkinia palace, so i wanted to give her a bigger spotlight. so my thought process for the timeline of this one is that duke onkled is still the traitor like in the original, but he was the one who led ganon to the palace after the king left and slaughtered all his advisors. however, that was right after zelda left too because she was hellbent on helping her father save link. the master sword is locked away in the palace armory after having been imbued with the power of the triforce of wisdom (thanks, impa!), so she grabbed it on her way out. good on her for having her suspicions about onkled and opting to take that piece of the triforce with her! otherwise ganon would have it right about now! but my idea was that she runs into gwonam on her way there, who is already carrying the purified link back home, and gwonam has to be the one to break the news to her that she's too late. don't worry about stuff like how long it took her or when onkled got there in relation to that. you know what you're watching. it doesn't have to make too much sense. can you tell i've never played a loz game in my life? actually wait, scratch that, i played a link between worlds but got softlocked very early on and forgot everything about it. sorry.

what was i talking about again? oh yeah, zeldarune. uhh i'm not designing morshlink neo while also incorporating design elements from miku and oliver. you can't make me. this video took long enough as it is. use your imagination. i like the editing touch i did where morsku and olinkver's original colors blink in and out to symbolize them fighting against the curse. just a fun little detail i wanted to point out. see what other ones you can spot! some of them might just be unintentional!
