Any PVA designed to be used with paper can be used as the adhesive for tipping on endpapers. Do not use wood glue. I use a special EVA called Evasol, which is rated for conservation grade work, which is overkill for most people, including me.

The paper I used for the endpapers is Fabriano Tiziano 160gsm. This is the heaviest paper I would use for endpapers and is too heavy for finer work. But it is very nice paper that comes in a wide range of colours and is reasonably priced and readily available from quality suppliers.
