Nearly 150 years after this famous railway viaduct was built (1875) Network rail and the Great North Rail Project spend many months and £2.1m in a well deserved maintenance program.
In this episode I visit Network rail who are tasked with the responsibility to perform the care and maintenance plans, albeit under very bleak conditions.
