One of the major factors that distinguishes a business from the other, are the people that make up the business. Mr. Shiraz Gidwani, Chief Executive of the Iktara/Firefly Motion Pictures, believes that establishing a business means creating a space for human aspirations. A business is fueled by having employees that have faith in the vision of their employers. Mr. Gidwani considers his very own employees, as well as a friendly office-culture to be the most integral parts of his business, and believes in creating a club of employees that nobody wants to leave, but everyone wants to join
Gidwani is the Chief Executive of Iktara Holdings and Iktara / Firefly Motion Pictures. Having been educated at the Les Roches School of Hospitality Management,Switzerland; the Cornell School of Hotel Administration, New York; Harvard Business School and theJohn F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University; he straddled several spheres of experience before founding the Iktara Group in 2009. He was formerly the Ambassador-General and Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations Youth Development Programme.
