OK, personally, I'm reluctant to do Ohio State's song because I've been to Columbus and did not like the atmosphere despite that I went to its twin sister, Indy. Putting that aside, I had to be festive to celebrate the team's entry in the 2010 NCAA basketball tourneys for both sexes. Yes, you will notice some change in wording, I have heard and read "Hit them hard" and "Knock them down" from people there and read this online. Also the last line, "so win that old conference now" can be replaced by "so let's beat (e.g. Michigan) now." The song can be sporty you know, as it sounds athletic and robust. The title is officially "Across the Field", but "Fight the Team" sometimes is put in by itself or with the latter.
