Additionally, the parkway will spur commercial and residential growth, with plans to build between 4,000 to 6,000 new homes, significantly increasing the town's current housing stock of 750 homes.
We’ll also discuss the upcoming Chief Toquer Reservoir, part of the Ash Creek project, aimed at improving water solutions for the area. This reservoir will be built on 115 acres of BLM land and will be 110 feet deep at its deepest point. It will serve as an alternative source of irrigation water and support recreation activities such as fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. This project is expected to be completed by 2025-2026, depending on winter conditions.
Currently, real estate in Toquerville Utah is limited, with only a few homes on the market. Prices range from under $500,000 for a 1,599 sq ft home to over $1.5 million for a custom-built home. There’s also potential for development on larger properties, adding to the town's growth potential.
