Marry Me Chicken Pasta, Garlic Bread and a Side Salad
***
French Bread 🥖
Ingredients:
-2 tablespoons instant yeast
-2 tablespoons granulated sugar
-2 cups warm water (100-110 degrees Fahrenheit)
-3 tablespoons vegetable oil
-2 teaspoons salt
-6 cups all purpose flour
-1 egg
-1 tablespoon water
Directions:
Add yeast, sugar and 2 cups of warm water to a bowl and whisk to combine. Let sit for 5 minutes, until it is bubbly and frothy.
Add in the oil, salt and flour.
Mix to combine.
At this stage, if you are using a mixer, add a dough hook and knead on medium high for 4-5 minutes. The dough should pull away from the sides of the mixing bowl. If it doesn't, slowly add 1 tablespoon of flour at a time and continue kneading until this happens. It shouldn’t take much. If you are making this without a mixer, use your hands to knead the dough on a lightly floured work surface for 4-5 minutes.
Place the dough in the mixing bowl and cover with a warm damp towel. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
Punch down the dough and divide into 2 pieces.
Shape each of the pieces of dough into a long log, like a baguette.
Place each of the pieces of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Optionally, score the dough with a few diagonal slits on the top.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. While the oven preheats, cover the tray with the warm damp towel and let the bread rise a second time.
Mix 1 egg and 1 tablespoon of water in a bowl. Brush over the bread loaves.
Bake for 23-25 minutes.
For Garlic Bread 🧄
-1 stick unsalted butter
-1 tsp each: garlic powder, oregano and parsley
Directions:
1. Cut bread through the center to separate the halves.
2. Melt butter and mix in the seasonings.
3. Brush melted butter mixture on the bread.
4. Bake for 5-10 minutes until golden brown and slightly crispy

Salad 🥗
Ingredients:
-1 heart of romaine lettuce
-1 cup cherry tomatoes
-2 baby cucumbers
-1/2 red bell pepper
-1 small red onion
Dressing:
-¼ cup olive oil
-2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
-1 tsp minced garlic
-½ tbsp honey or maple syrup
-½ tsp salt
-¼ tsp black pepper
-¼ tsp dried parsley
-¼ tsp dried oregano
-pinch of red pepper flakes
If you want it a little extra tangy add 1 tsp dijon mustard
If you want it a little creamy you can add 1 tsp mayo or greek yogurt

Marry Me Chicken Pasta🍝
Ingredients:
-1 lb ditalini pasta
-1 lb chicken breast
-10 oz spinach
-1 tablespoon oil from sundried tomato jar
-1 yellow onion
-1 cup sundried tomatoes
-1 zucchini
-2 tablespoons butter
-2 tablespoons flour
-2 tsps each: garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, parsley, paprika
-1 tsp each: salt and pepper
-1/2 cup pasta water reserved from cooking
-1 cup heavy cream
-1 cup milk
-1 cup shredded Italian cheese bled
Directions:
1. Bring salty water to a boil for the pasta. Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before straining the noodles.
2. Dice onion, zucchini and sundried tomatoes.
3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add in oil from sundried tomatoes. Saute the veggies for 5 minutes until softened. Add to the cooked and drained pasta.
4. Add spinach to the skillet and cook down for 3 minutes or so until it is sauteed. Add to the cooked and drained pasta.
5. Dice chicken into bite sized pieces.
6. Cook chicken in the skillet over medium high heat. Season with 1 tsp each: garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, parsley and paprika. Add 1/2 tsp each salt and pepper. Cook until chicken is cooked through to 165 degrees internal temperature.
7. Remove chicken from the skillet and add to cooked and drained pasta.
8. Melt the butter in the skillet where you cooked the chicken. Add the flour and whisk to create a roux. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
9. Add the remaining seasonings and cook 1-2 minutes more.
10. Add in the reserved pasta water, whisking to combine.
11. Add in the milk and heavy cream slowly, whisking after each addition. Let cook for 5 minutes on medium heat to thicken.
12. Add in the cheese and stir to combine.
13. Add sauce to pasta and veggies and stir to mix.
