Welcome to the 25th annual Vizuri Kabisa (Black Graduation)!
Vizuri Kabisa is Swahili for "excellence." Vizuri Kabisa is a recognition event that honors the academic and leadership achievements of graduating African, African American, and Black-identified students.
The University of San Francisco's Cultural Centers proudly celebrates our 2021 graduating students through our five End of the Year Ceremonies (of which Vizuri Kabisa is one). Each of these ceremonies center the cultural identities and backgrounds that our students hold. Each event is designed to highlight the outstanding work our students have accomplished in the areas of service, academics, and leadership while affirming the unique challenges and experiences they share.
