This is the build video for the Zeppelin Design Labs 1x8 Speaker Cabinet that is the companion to the Percolator 2 Watt Amplifier. This video takes you through the construction of the box and electronic components of the kit from Zeppelin Design Labs.
This is a simple, high quality speaker cabinet, made of solid wood. It's a simple DIY woodworking project, designed to be done with a minimum of special tools or skills. The kit comes with a Jensen C8R speaker, but you can mount any 8" speaker inside. The kit includes all the wood parts cut-to-size; full size drilling templates; precut baffle board; grille cloth; and all the hardware. You need to drill countersunk holes, set some clamps, and drive some wood screws; sand and stain; stretch and staple the grille cloth.
