Its dark and violent history includes mass murder during Clan Wars, the sad story of Janet Douglas, the mysterious hauntings of Earl Beardie and the bizarre tale of the Monster of Glamis. This beautiful tourist attraction was home to Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother and the birthplace of Princess Margaret.
