Описание: Amid rising concerns over cooking gas shortage, police have intensified inspections to prevent illegal hoarding and black marketing of LPG cylinders in Hoskote near Bengaluru. A sudden raid was carried out by police at a gas storage godown in Anugondanahalli following reports that some agents were stockpiling cylinders due to increased demand.

According to police sources, the inspection focused on verifying the stock of LPG cylinders and ensuring that no illegal storage or black market sales were taking place. Officers checked records and physically verified the number of cylinders kept inside the godown.

The raid comes at a time when demand for LPG cylinders has significantly increased due to supply concerns and public panic buying. Authorities said such situations sometimes lead to illegal hoarding by middlemen trying to sell cylinders at higher prices in the black market.

Police have issued a strict warning to distributors and agents not to store LPG cylinders illegally or sell them outside the official supply chain. Officials said strict action will be taken against anyone found violating rules.

ಗ್ಯಾಸ್ ಕೊರತೆ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ ಕೆಲವರು ಸಿಲಿಂಡರ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಅಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಕಾಳಸಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ ಎಂಬ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಬಂದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ದಿಢೀರ್ ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ಅಕ್ರಮ ಸಂಗ್ರಹ ಹಾಗೂ ಬ್ಲಾಕ್ ಮಾರಾಟ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಕಠಿಣ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವುದಾಗಿ ಖಡಕ್ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Authorities also confirmed that similar inspections may continue across other areas to ensure fair LPG distribution.
