It's time to head inland to our destination—the Hunter Valley Region! We stopped in a charming historic town called Wollombi. It felt like stepping back in time as we strolled down the main street and explored each store.
The Wollombi Tavern is a must-visit. The outdoor area is spacious, offering plenty of room to relax for the afternoon with a view of the countryside. We tried Dr. Jurd’s Jungle Juice, which is sweet, but when mixed with cider, it makes for a tasty drink! There's loads of history in this town, and we highly recommend checking it out!
The next day, we participated in our first-ever hop-on-hop-off wine tour in the Hunter Valley. It was a fun day sampling various wines and breweries while relaxing and overlooking vineyards. If you want to know more about the tour and our review, check out this episode!
