Washington state Democrats in the House and Senate have introduced a pair of bills to tax the state's highest earners.
Senate Bill 6346 and House Bill 2724 would create an income tax for Washingtonians who make more than a million dollars each year at a rate of 9.9%.
Washington Gov. Bob Ferguson said he agrees with a lot of the bill, but that there's still work to do.
