The Alko saw wouldn't start after being left overnight and when the spark plug was removed it was all oiled up.
If I could get it running it smocked heavily for a while as the oil burnt off.
The cause was the valve in the chain oil tank which had deteriorated and left just a open pipe back to the crankcase and overnight it would fill up the cylinder and oil up the spark plug.
The pipe sends pressure to the oil tank and then when you squeeze the trigger the valve that you adjust for the oil amount to the chain and bar (brass screw R.H.S. of saw) oils the bar and chain.
You could just drain the oil tank and manually oil the chain every so often as necessary or strip the cases out and replace the valve as
the video.
