Описание: *Not my property/not for-profit.* Chartmaker Records 406 – *Now on Discogs!* Lenny Roberts, performing both an angsty and upbeat psych ballad on this flipper, would go on to be Cher’s producer-sound engineer from 1970 to 1977. Their joint output was mostly from a studio converted from an old bank at the northeastern corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Larabee Street, which still stands today. Before meeting Cher, Roberts gave the biz a shot of his own and was signed to Chartmaker, a 1960s label based out of Hollywood, probably best-known for its heartmelter “Let Me Dream” by The Matadors. The home that Chartmaker was headquartered in on Leland Way would also later be home to the beloved and now-closed Off Vine restaurant. Can’t wait to see what monstrosity is built over this history! Anyways, enjoy. Look out for the listing on Discogs. *This is a direct vinyl transfer, straight from the platter to the line-in on my Tascam digital recorder, saved as a 24-bit .WAV file, and synced to the video.* Always #ortofon
