塔丸｜名頃ルート、超急登の果てにたどり着いた大絶景

剣山系の塔丸に行ってきました。
本来は徳島県側の塔丸登山口から登る予定でしたが、道中の名頃地区でまさかの冬季通行止め。迂回路も分からず、やむなく三嶺の登山口に車をとめ、計画とは真逆のルートから挑戦することに。
ところが――
登山道らしき道が、ない。
踏み跡もあいまいな斜面を、ただひたすら直登。
軽めの山行のつもりで選んだ塔丸が、まさかの“過去一級”の急登トレーニングに早変わりしました。
「今日はのんびりのはずやったのに…」
心の中で何度かつぶやいた。
しかし。
その地獄の急登を登り切った瞬間、目の前に広がったのは――
言葉を失うほどの、衝撃的な絶景。
あの景色を見た瞬間、それまでの苦しさが一気に報われました。
むしろ、「この景色に出会うための急登やったんや」と思えるほど。
結果的に、この険しい名頃ルートは
“最高にしんどくて、最高に素晴らしいルート”になりました。
山は、やっぱり甘くない。
でも、だからこそ面白い。

I went to Tōmaru in the Tsurugi Mountains.
Originally, I planned to climb from the Tokushima-side trailhead. However, I ran into an unexpected winter road closure in the Nagoro area. With no idea about a detour, I had no choice but to park at the trailhead for Mount Miune and start from a completely opposite route than planned.
But then—
There was no clear trail.
No proper path. No reliable footprints.
Just a steep slope… and a relentless straight ascent.
What was supposed to be a light hike suddenly turned into the toughest steep-climb training of my life.
“I thought today was going to be an easy one…”
I muttered that to myself more than once.
And yet—
The moment I finally conquered that brutal ascent, the view that unfolded before me was beyond words.
A breathtaking, overwhelming panorama that erased all the exhaustion in an instant.
In fact, it even felt like,
“This climb was meant for this view.”
In the end, this harsh Nagoro route became
the toughest—and the most incredible—route I’ve ever taken.
Mountains are never easy.
And that’s exactly why they’re so fascinating.
