Back to the Peak District and this time a walk up Chrome Hill, known locally as the dragons back due to its shape. We took a short version of the walk and ascended form the south side ridge. Chrome Hill is a beautiful location and located next to the Parkhouse Hill, both very popular with Peak District Walkers. This is a safe but tough hike for youngsters but with the right encouragement they can make it.
