Ladakh Circuit checklist:

🧳 Essential Documents
• Valid ID proof (Aadhar, Passport, Driving License)
• Vehicle registration papers
• Driving license
• Insurance documents
• Inner Line Permit (ILP) or Protected Area Permit (PAP) if required , visit the site https://www.lahdclehpermit.in/ to apply for the online permit.
• Multiple photocopies of all documents

🚗 Vehicle Essentials
• Spare tyre and tyre repair kit
• Engine oil, coolant, brake fluid
• Basic tool kit
• Tow rope, jumper cables
• Portable air compressor
• Extra fuel (jerry cans)

🩺 Health & Safety
• First aid kit (bandages, antiseptic, painkillers)
• Diamox (for altitude sickness)
• Personal medications
• Oxygen cylinder or canisters (for emergencies)
• Hand sanitizer and wet wipes

📱 Tech & Navigation
• Offline maps
• Two way Radio Walkie Talkies considering Hanle and Pangong has limited or no mobile connectivity
• Torch/flashlight with extra batteries
• Camera with memory cards

📍 Key Petrol Pump Locations Outside Leh
Karu, Diskit, Turtuk, Tangtse Near Pangong , Nyoma / Hanle, Kargil, Drass, Upshi, Padum (Zanskar)

⛽ Important Tips
Always fill up in Leh before heading to Nubra, Pangong, Hanle, or Zanskar.
Carry extra fuel in jerry cans – especially for Hanle, Tso Moriri, and remote circuits.
Avoid last-minute refuels; plan your route and distances wisely.

Please note that overall road conditions in Ladakh have significantly improved compared to when we last visited, so travel times may vary accordingly.
