Novo Resources Corp executive co-chairman Mike Spreadborough talked with Proactive about early-stage exploration success at the company’s Wyloo gold–silver–antimony project in Western Australia’s southern Pilbara and plans to advance the project to drilling.
Kas De Luca, general manager of exploration, outlined how stream sediment sampling identified two coherent antimony anomalies extending for more than two kilometres, prompting follow-up fieldwork. She said rock chip sampling at the Wyloo Southeast prospect returned anomalous antimony, silver and gold, including results of up to 1.29% antimony alongside elevated lead, zinc and gold values. De Luca noted that the team initially targeted antimony but was encouraged by the presence of multiple commodities within sulphide-rich vein systems.
