100 YEARS OF DRAYTON-ST-LEONARD, OXFORDSHIRE
Some Postcard photos are more than 100 years old,
Particularly the church Postcard without the clock
The clock was installed in 1884,
The postcard of the church with the clock published by T.W. JORDAN,
The Post Office, DRAYTONS’LEONARD (See photo)
I have the postcard posted to Dorking in Surrey from DSL 2nd June 1930,
Music in this video, La Paloma performed by Billy Vaughn (p1958) Original 1860,
The church tower appears stone looking but that’s how the original Postcard looks,
the tower actually had a Cedar Shingle covering.
