Описание: This 4th video in the series of shoulder exercises using weights is the most advanced. If you're looking for a workout for your shoulders, you're going to love it. Don't try and be the hero on this one. Just get a feel for it by using lighter weights the first time.
After years of being a sponsored competitive mountain biker, I was a chiropractor with torn ligaments and muscles as seen on an MRI. What I am giving you here are the exercises that helped me. They are focused on the rotator cuff muscles and the scapular (wing bone) stabilizers. Some of the muscles worked are the supraspinatus, teres minor, rhomboids, anterior deltoids, lateral deltoids, posterior deltoids, serratus anterior and inferior trapezius muscles to name a few.

Why emphasize core for a shoulder video? Your core muscles are the center of power of your body. They connect your lower and upper body and, when your core is engaging with strength, your extremities actually get stronger. Think of sweeping the floor or hitting a ball with weak core muscles. Your arms won't have a strong base to work off of. The core backs up and grounds the body while the arms can move with less give in the torso. Body movement should originate in the core. Try to engage it while doing these shoulder strengthening exercises.

Be cautious and do them every other day or more frequently if able. If these are too much for you, stop and give us a call or go to my no-equipment arm exercises. Also check out ESWT (extracorporeal shockwave therapy) and class IV laser as treatment possibilities in our office.
