The Deccan Queen was India's First electric-hauled train.
This is one of the most prestigious and historic trains in India, introduced on June 1, 1930 by the Great Indian Peninsula Railway (GIPR). The train runs between Mumbai and Pune. When it first started, the journey began from Bombay Victoria Terminus now Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus or CSMT and ended at Pune Junction, covering a distance of approximately 192 kilometers.
