Aftermath: Edgeworth Loses His 2nd Father [Ace Attorney Fan Comic]

Some thoughts/HCs: He seems to have respected and admired Manfred a lot- he talked about how Manfred was the only one there for him when he was at his lowest (I don't remember if that was in the game or if that was anime only--). Regardless, he helped Miles pick himself back up and find a purpose in life again after losing Gregory. Just for Miles to find out that Manfred is the monster that made him suffer in the first place AND tried to frame him with Yogi. Even so, Miles is probably used to seeking comfort from Manfred after doing so for 15 years. He's been with him longer than he's been with Gregory at this point, the memories with Gregory are faded or distant. I HC that Manfred wasn't a horrible dad directly to his kids, but that makes it even more complicated for Miles. He'll just be stuck with the question of "why?" without any closure. All of Miles' happy memories after the DL-6 are now forever tainted by the man who gave them to him. That would definitely make for some VERY complicated feelings and a messy recovery 😭
