In this video, KTO goes to LA to interview the goat himself, Lucki. Lucki, (previously known as Lucki Eck$, is an American rapper and record producer from Chicago, Illinois. He came to public attention in 2013, after receiving recognition for his debut project, Alternative Trap. Lucki has worked with prominent music figures since then, releasing songs with Chance the Rapper, FKA Twigs, Danny Brown, and Earl Sweatshirt. He has now signed with record label Empire. Some of his notable songs include 4 The Better, Greed (feat. Lil Yachty), Nascar Daschar, More Than Ever Faith, and Lifestyle Brazy. We sat down with him to talk about his mom putting him onto Future when he was younger, making music that fits any mood, doing a popup at inflamed studios, Playboi Carti teaching him how to rap over trap beats, working with F1lthy from Working on Dying, who he thinks is the next wave (Sofaygo, Lancey Foux, Matt Ox, babyxsosa, bktherula, kaash Paige, etc), being on OVO sound radio (shouting out Drake and Oliver El Khatib), being known as the “underground goat”, having faith in god and praying when he feels down, weird fan stories, and lastly, how to grow a cult fanbase.
