Here is a station promo for New York City's channel 5 when it was WNEW, I'd say 1980 give or take a year. It does not include clips from any of the syndicated or local shows they offered at the time, just around-the-town-type scenes (a downtown businessman on a unicycle, a kids' swimming lesson with the teacher falling in the pool, folks in a deli constructing a massive hero, children petting an owl at the zoo, all types of workers doing their thing, etc.), accompanied by the catchy "Your Choice is 5" theme song, which I've also seen called "You Can 5."
This isn't from my unique collection of old NYC video, but I don't see it out there (unless maybe it's buried in a long block of promos somewhere). I've had it for over 20 years, so I figured why not upload it by itself--it's memorable, and I'm sure back-in-the-day channel 5 viewers will dig seeing it.
