Описание: Blooming in the Desert is a powerful documentary that explores the transformation of Raqqa, Syria, after the defeat of ISIS. Once known as the "capital" of ISIS, Raqqa is now being rebuilt by a new generation of women who are leading the change.

This film follows three remarkable women—Maryam Ibrahim, who leads the Women’s Administration Office; Awaft Al Issa, who works in the municipality; and Hind Abdulaziz, a musician and singer—who are breaking barriers and playing a vital role in the city's revival. Under the oppressive rule of ISIS and the previous Ba'ath regime, women were largely excluded from public life. Now, these women are not only part of Raqqa’s recovery but are also redefining the future of women in Syria.

With subtitles in Spanish, English and Italian.
