Gorou is a very niche character which should be worth noting that he can only benefit a small number of characters in this game. If you don't have Noelle, Chiori, or Arataki Itto, your time and resources are better off building other characters.

He primarily buffs defense (DEF) and Geo DPS characters primarily. Keep that in mind if you are deciding on building him.
