Most men who fall victims to these accusations have their job, career, reputation, dignity, respect destroyed and are rarely compensated by the state in case of an honorable acquittal. In rather an exceptional case to this norm, Mr. Digambar Gaikwad from Pune who was falsely accused by his colleague of molestation, was granted Rs. 10 Lacs as compensation to be paid by the woman as ordered by Court recently.
