3. SOUNDBITE (English) Donald Trump, Republican presidential hopeful:
"I mean, what Iran has done is incredible but 150 (b) billion (US) dollars; I have been mentioning this so much and I guarantee you the United States has been putting so much pressure, 'Please, give us our prisoners back. Please, please, please'. This should've been done three, four, years ago when the deal was struck. Before the deal was made, and this is the world's longest deal, they should have said: 'We want our prisoners back.' Now the reason, and what's happening, the reason they let the boat, the sailors go, is because in two days they were getting 150 billion (US) dollars and these are smart people. They're not gonna say 'Well, we're gonna keep the same...', they (Iran) had to get the money so they let them go. I guarantee you, Scott (Brown), that if that money weren't in play, they would've kept those sailors – 100 percent – they would've kept them just like they kept the four people (referring to four detained Americans released by Iran as part of prisoner swap). Now I have to see what the deal is for the four people because somebody said they're getting seven people back. So essentially they get 150 billion (US dollars) plus seven, and we get four. Ah, doesn't sound too good but we have to see. I just heard about this an hour ago and I'm happy they're coming back but I will tell you it's a disgrace that they've been there for so long. It's a disgrace; remember that, a total disgrace."

STORYLINE:
Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump on Saturday gave cautious praise to the release of four Americans who had been detained in Iran.
Speaking at a campaign rally in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Trump said it was a "disgrace" the prisoners had been held in Iran for so long.
Among those released is Washington Post bureau chief Jason Rezaian, who had been held more than 543 days on espionage and related charges.
US officials say the four Americans are to be flown from Iran to Switzerland on a Swiss plane and then brought to a US military base in Landstuhl, Germany, for medical treatment.
