In August 2021, I pushed off to kayak the entire Erie Canal from Buffalo to Albany, completing the first-ever Triple End-to-End of the Erie Canalway Trail. Eaten alive by mosquitoes, nearly run over by careless boaters, and suffering physically and mentally, I continued forward in pursuit of a dream that has been two years in the making.
