🇩🇰 Today marks exactly 100 years since the opening of the Hirtshals Line! 🇩🇰 To celebrate the centennial of "Hirtshalsbanen" (1925-2025), this video begins with a special historical introduction. Travel back in time with unique footage from 1937 and 1942, showing how the line looked in the era of steam and early diesel, before we jump into the modern cab for a high-speed round trip.

We depart from Hjørring, traveling north through the open landscape to the port city of Hirtshals, and return immediately after turnaround. This line has been the lifeline of the region for a century – Happy Birthday, Hirtshalsbanen!
