Omnipresent. Manipulative. Conniving.

Isn't that how we all think of viruses? After all, they are the villains that have caused the horrific pandemic we're currently in and have been responsible for hundreds more in the past. Peril. Mortality. Tragedy. That is the definition of viruses.

Or is it?

In one of my most captivating films ever, I take an unconventional approach to the enigmas that are viruses and explore completely unseen aspects of them. 'The Hijackers', despite its title, ironically shows how its subjects - viruses - may not merely be what the title says. As I said in the film, "maybe there's more to viruses than meets the eye..."
