My first "official" day on the SHT working toward my 3 yr section hike of the entire SHT. I did a simple little circle route from my uncle's place, officially doing the Lake Cty Rd 2 to Stewart River Campsite section--something around 6+ miles of the SHT, I think. This was around Labor Day and was meant to try out all my gear ahead of what I planned to be 2 weeks on the trail later that month.
This is my first shot at a more polished video format with a little Bike - Hike - Paddle intro/outro branding. I'm sure that will evolve over time, but it's a start. Now that I'm in full retirement mode, I'm finally getting these out here! I welcome comments about the video regarding what you like, don't like, want to see more/less of, and whatever else crosses your mind. More videos from 2022, 2023, and 2024 to come soon! I actually get my face on the camera, too (LOL!). I was just a little shy on this first excursion into doing this thing! I hope you enjoy these--they are going to be fun to share!
