In this video with Ajay Jani, managing partner at Single A Capital, we dive into the most challenging aspect of trading, when to sell. As Ajay points out, much of our time and effort is focused on how to enter a stock, but once we're in very few traders have specific rules when it comes to taking our profit.

Ajay emphasizes the importance of trimming positions at 25% after 8 weeks and uses the 10 week moving average as a trailing stop for the rest of his position. His initial stop is no more than 8% as he notes that most stocks don't top during climatic runs, but during failed breakouts.

Multiple times during the interview he references traders who have paved the way before him such as William O'Neil with his initial study on the best winners throughout history or the Lifecycle team on their work specifically with IPOs. While it's great to get ideas from others the most benefit comes from when we conduct our own studies, which is another topic Ajay covers today.
