Trying Kiwano Melon (Horned Melon) - Exotic Fruit Tasting

Описание: We try a Kiwano Melon, aka Horned Melon, or Jelly Melon. This one is pretty strange. They are from central and southern regions of Africa. They are said to contain many essential nutrients and antioxidants, and have a host of benefits. We got this one from Sprouts. It tasted to me like a sweet, juicy cucumber, without bitter notes. I did feel like the flavor had more to offer if this had been a more mature fruit. This was definitely a new experience!
