The ghost absolutely tried.

We found secrets.

We escaped with our lives (barely, emotionally damaged, but alive).
We brought the gear.
We brought the courage.
We brought curiosity… and somehow it didn’t immediately get us killed.

us investigating creepy details that definitely should’ve been ignored

finding hidden stuff in the map while the ghost quietly judges us
someone refusing to leave because “I need one more picture”

At one point we stopped being ghost hunters and became professional survivors.
