Illustrator or Photoshop? Why not use both? There are certainly times where one program or the other is the choice depending on the type of project you are doing, but there are also times when you can use both of these powerful tools together to help you create. In this video I will show you an example workflow for how you could go about using both programs in order to create a fun, 3D desktop wallpaper design. We will be looking at some of Illustrator's built-in 3D tools to create some basic forms, creating a pattern, and then we will bring them into Photoshop where we can apply further adjustments and changes.
