Rotovac CFX ZX and DHX Review

At first I was hesitant to purchase the Rotovac CFX ZX carpet cleaning extractor and the DHX Powerwand. The idea of hooking my pressure lines to the faucets in a house was not appealing. I thought that I needed at least 300 PSI to get the best results. Also, unless a house is empty, it just doesn't look professional to attach pressure lines to someone's bathroom or kitchen faucet. Further, most newer faucets today don't have removeable aerators that allow for a faucet hose adapter.

But, I have a water otter pump that allows me to not have to hook up to internal faucets, so it wasn't that big of a concern.

What appealed to me about the Rotovac CFX ZX was the strong vacuum power and the auto dump out feature. Most portable carpet cleaning extractors have less-than-satisfying vacuum power or water lift. And I have never been overly impressed with the auto dump out features of most portables.
